There were no plush furnishings in Maljandra’s apartment. Flora was left unguarded and unchained and she wondered why they hadn’t made her more secure. The moment they left, she walked cautiously to the terrace. As she drew close, her vision faded. She shook her head and stepped back. The moment she retreated, her vision returned. How strange, she thought. She turned and made a dash for the door. She put her hand on it and her sight left her completely. She turned too quickly, and lost her balance. Fear engulfed her and her heart pounded in her ears. She spread her hands out blindly and sought a solid surface to latch onto. A gasp escaped her when she brushed against the silken tunic of a man.

“There’s no use to trying to escape,” said a cold, clear voice. “My apartments are enchanted.”

“I cannot see,” Flora cried. “Give me back my eyes or I shall go mad.”

“The enchantment will lift when I tell it to and not a moment before. Clearly you tried to do something you should not.”

She flinched as Maljandra’s hand touched her shoulder. The wizard let it linger there, and then turned her body toward him. She recoiled at his touch but he only sighed pleasantly. With one quick maneuver he pushed the tattered silk garment off her shoulders and let it fall to the floor. “Such a pity,” he said. “You’re quite a beauty. Still, you’re to be marked for Hades, so I cannot touch you now.”

“I heard you were a great wizard, prove your goodness and set me free.”

Maljandra laughed a low, hollow laugh. “If you’ve heard anything at all, I’ll wager you’ve heard of my indifference to the pleas of desperate women.”

He took her hand and jerked her arm. “Follow me.” She stumbled, but quickly got her feet under her for fear he would drag her across the floor. She reached out to keep herself from running into anything and her hand connected with a doorway as they passed through into another chamber. The sound of trickling water reached her ears. “You must be prepared for the ritual. Wait here.”

Perhaps he left for only a few seconds, but to Flora, blind and naked in a strange place, it felt like an eternity. She stood vulnerable and trembling, and felt more fear than she’d ever known before. Her empty stomach roared for attention, and if she did not eat soon, she would faint. She had need of Dero’s courage, and she turned the ring still on her finger. A warm sensation crept through her tired limbs and her hunger faded at once, but not even Dero’s magic was enough to erase her fear of pain. What will he do to me? What form will the sacrifice take? How much will I suffer?

She did not have to wonder long for the mage soon returned.

“Come,” Maljandra said. He took her hand and led her forward. Slowly, they walked down a couple of steps and then water rose over her foot. As they descended the steps, the water rose up her legs and she realized they were in a pool. This must be his bathing chamber. The water was warm and soothed her blood-stained skin. Nevertheless she advanced cautiously, and her legs locked, afraid she might slip and fall. As he brushed by her, Flora felt the wizard’s bare skin and knew he’d undressed to bathe her.

The slightly rough surface of a sponge rubbed across her body as the mage wiped away the stench of stale blood and the dungeon. He washed her slowly and carefully, and left no part of her body untouched. She trembled with every stroke, and she sensed her fear pleased him. As his hands washed her hair, he was close up against her, and Flora felt both his desire and frustration.

“Do you always do as you’re told?” she asked.

“What do you mean?”

“Ragnold is your master, is he not? You are in his service and do his dirty work.” She put her hand on his bare chest. “Set me free and I could reward you. Return my sight to me and help me escape.”

Maljandra’s hand cupped her right breast and he caressed it gently. “You want me to set you free?” he whispered in her ear.

“Yes, I beg you, let me go.”

He squeezed, but the pain she felt in her breast was nothing to the pain she felt throughout her body. It twisted within her, eating into every part of her, leaving nothing unscathed by its sharp teeth. A scream tore from her, leaving her throat raw, followed by another. She screamed more than she’d ever done before.

“And who would free me from the wrath of Hades?” he asked. His breath was hot against her ear. “You think me as weak as any mortal man? Do you think the temptation of a little dryad would easily turn me? Know this, foolish woman. You’ll remain blind till I take you to the temple. I’ll restore your sight long enough for you to see Ragnold’s gauntlet rip out your heart.”

In spite of the pain wrenching through her, Flora spat, praying she spat in the mage’s face, but he didn’t strike or hurt her again. The pain stopped as instantaneously as it began and Maljandra put his hand on Melinoe’s necklace. His hand hesitated against the dark circle, as if he sensed some power within it. A low growl emanated from him and she winced as he wrenched it from her neck.

Once her body was prepared, he led her from the pool and left her alone. From the other chamber the sound of fabric on skin reached her and she guessed he was drying his body and dressing. He soon returned.

“Kneel,” Maljandra commanded. The urge to run gripped her, but some invisible force pushed her to her knees. She couldn’t sense where in the room they were, but she smelled smoke and heard the crackling of a fire. “You were supposed to be branded this morning as a concubine, but now the brand will be the mark of Hades.”

Again, the urge to run overwhelmed her, but Maljandra’s magic was tighter than any bond. A hiss filled the room, followed by the roar of flames. Flora recognized the sound from the slave market in Bartom. It was the sound of a branding iron being turned in the fire. She closed her eyes tightly and her throat clicked when she tried to swallow. Gods, my throat is so dry!

“They say to be branded is one of the most intense pains known to man.”

Flora began to shake violently. She wanted to turn Dero’s ring again but she couldn’t move her arms. The heat of the iron warmed her skin as it passed by her face. Maljandra was teasing her, letting her feel its heat before the dreadful moment.

Her heart seemed frozen in her chest and tears of anguish fell down her face.

“Very good,” said Maljandra. “You are tamed at last. But that will not save you now.”

When the branding iron was pressed into her skin, a searing pain such as she’d never known before washed over her. The smell of scorched flesh filled the air and her scream echoed off the walls. Her anguish died in her throat, as she fell, mercifully, unconscious to the floor.

Title: Protected by the Knight (#3 in the Loving the Knight Series)

I have the privilege to present snippets from Sadie Dane's latest book, Protected by the Knight. Sadie is an American Author from Portland Oregon, where she lives with her husband. So, without further ado, I give you, Protected by the Knight.

Summary: Sir Edward Caldwell is not the type of knight to entertain notions of love. He has seen how little it takes to break a vow, and refuses to ever end up the fool. So when he's ordered to protect a visiting princess, he seizes the opportunity to add a royal notch to his bedpost. What he never expected was that the princess would be just as much of a player as he is.

Princess Lotte has mere weeks before her arranged marriage is to take place and, despite her personal guard's wishes, plans to spend that time experiencing everything life has to offer. Luckily, fate sends her just the knight for the job. But when she finds herself over his knee, with her heart on her sleeve, she realizes she's playing a dangerous game - without knowing the rules

Blurb:

Chapter One

"Of course, dove. You are my everything. Without you there is no meaning." Edward performed his lines with the perfection of a seasoned actor. He gripped the supple cheeks of the vixen straddling him. She bit her lower lip, an amazing actress by her own right, as her bright blue eyes burned. They both knew the parts they needed to play.

"What if my husband finds out?" she whispered as if their love had robbed her of enough air to speak at a normal level.

Edward let his hands slide up her torso where he held a breast in each palm. His cock hardened at the dessert that was to come. He'd sampled this treat before and knew it was worth the theatricality required to taste it. "Let him find out," Edward hissed, his lips vibrated against her neck. "Let the world find out!"

She wailed in longing, their scene had reached its climax and now it was time for Edward to reach his. His cock celebrated its near victory. His hands joined the party as he lifted the sultry siren up enough to delve into her silky folds.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

Someone knocked urgently at his door. Edward turned his head from the sound and lifted his hips. The woman froze, wide eyes transfixed on the very door Edward was happy to ignore.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

"Piss off!"

The woman shrieked. "What if it's my husband?"

Moments from glory, Edward clucked his tongue and shook his head softly. "No, no," he placed a soothing hand on her cheek. "I'm sure it is nothing import—"

"Urgent message from the King!" came the voice from the other side of the door.

"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph," Edward bit the words out, sliding from beneath the beautiful, blonde filly. He watched her slide back and out of sight before yanking the door open, not bothering to cover himself. "What is it?"

A young, very serious looking messenger glanced once at the parchment he held before speaking at a volume loud enough for the entire castle to hear. "The King requests your discreet presence at a secret—"

"Excuse me," Edward interrupted the messenger, leaning one arm up and against the doorway, "if it is a secret, should you be screaming?"

The messenger remained, his mouth wide open, his forehead crinkling as if he was pondering life's greatest questions. Edward looked past the goldfish and spied a smirking figure lurking in the shadows on the other side of the path.

"I am quite busy," Edward said to the figure in the shadows.

Caldwell leaned forward and crossed his arms. "Not anymore."

Bio

Sadie Dane was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, a place where coffee is an acceptable beverage choice at any hour and where umbrellas are for quitters. Her love of romance novels brought her to an early life of crime and deception as she became an expert at stealing her mother’s old bodice rippers, memorizing exactly how they were placed on the shelf and returning them, unnoticed. She is happy that these days she can read and write freely, using less covert tactics.

Interview

What prompted you to write Protected by the Knight?

Protected by the Knight is actually the third book in my Loving the Knight series. Each book before was written to be enjoyed as a stand-alone, however there are repeat, or cameo, characters. That being said, Edward appeared first in the second book of the series, Possessed by the Knight as the hero’s brother. Edward was such a fun, sexy character to write, I was immediately intrigued about who he would end up with, what his sexy story was. I was able to discover that with Protected by the Knight and have to say (though I am biased) that he couldn’t have ended up with anyone better.

Which fictional character would you like to have a drink with?

This is a rough question because as soon as I think and decide on one person a new, better character pops in my head. Not to sound narcissistic but I would love to catch a pint with every single one of my own characters (if they can stop shagging long enough). Dumbledore is another one that keeps popping up. I bet that guy is a party.

. Why do you think sex sells?

Because it’s fun? I know why I enjoy reading erotic romance and it is for the same reason I read most fiction, to escape and explore. Only with erotic romance you are escaping into the arms of hot men and exploring…well you get it.

How much does your own sexuality come into play when you are writing a book?

It’s hard to not let my own turn ons and offs creep into my writing, but I try to stay out of it. If anything, I will hear about a kink, research it so I can write it and then after writing it, think that it may sound like fun. I am sure my husband is worried about this every time I write about something that is out of his comfort zone! Joking. Kind of.

. Blushing Books is known for their sexy spanking and domestic discipline stories, do you live that life?

This question of living the life gets asked a lot. I like to say first that I write erotic romance, do I live that life? I guess, yes, I do have sex. Sometimes it is even romantic. J As for some of the other aspects, I like to dabble--experience this or that--but I don’t think I could live one way all day every day.

Jingle Belles:
Belle was given everything, great looks, a fantastic boyfriend, and her Advertising Agency was set to become one of the best in the business. But all this was spoiled by her cold and selfish heart. Her dead roommate, Nicky, warns her she'll be visited by three ghosts, and if she doesn't take heed, she will pay for all eternity.
This book jingled your Christmas bells with a little spanking and light humor! Available now at Blushing Books by clicking here.

http://www.blushingbooks.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2521A Bride For Lord Esher:
Lord Esher makes a foolish bet with his best friend to either bed the woman serving them at the tavern - or marry her!  Carried away in drunken foolishness he wakes up to find this low-born woman by his bed, studying him. But despite his best attempts to rid himself of such an unsuitable wife, he is stuck with her. But when she is driven away by his unscrupulous friends he will do anything to get her back.
Dark with a sprinkle of BDSM, this one will pull your heartstrings as well as your Christmas cracker. Available now at Blushing Books by clicking here.

Lady Charity and the Guilty Pleasure:
When Lady Charity Lancing comes into possession of a book censored by Regency society as indecent, it seems little more than a trivial guilty pleasure. But when her possession of it is discovered, an unscrupulous suitor uses her secret as leverage in his marriage proposition - with disastrous consequences for all.
This book is a sweet, though dark romance - underlining the stark contrast between erotic fantasy and real-life trials. More nice, than naughty! Available now at Blushing Books by clicking here.

http://www.blushingbooks.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2365Rosaline and the Marquis:
Four sexually adventurous college students use a dusty occult tome to resurrect the Marquis deSade, and get more than they bargained for. The students only wanted to draw on the famous sadist's experience to enhance their erotic education, but soon they find themselves under the sway of a charismatic figure as powerful in death as he ever was in life.
Rosaline and the Marquis is dark, with some added humor and a lot of naughty! Available now at Blushing Books by clicking here.

Drench the Wench:
http://www.blushingbooks.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2287Still my personal favorite, this one is a collection of sexual adventures played out at a Renaissance Fair. From elves who sneak into the faire leather shop after hours to satisfy their curiosity about human sexuality, to a dryad’s mind-blowing sex with a wizard, to the most unusual werewolf encounter you will ever read, this book is one that will make you pant and giggle naughtily in delightful turns. If this doesn't ding those sleigh bells, nothing will! Available now at Blushing Books by clicking here.

Do You Remember Your First Time? #amsg #amwriting

First times are always special. That first kiss. The first time you made love. Your first book cover *wink.*

Firsts are always special. You can experience different things over and over, but out of a million memories, first times are always remembered, long after more meaningful memories have faded away.

I remember my first kiss.  More than twenty years after it happened I can still taste him on my lips. I still remember catching my breath, and rising up on my toes under that lamppost, my body set to supernova when at last our lips brushed....

Alright, alright. I know my first kiss reads like something out of a Harlequin novel, but that's okay, because that's how I remembered it. It's funny how a romance plays out in your head, no matter where you are or what you're doing. As it happens I was coming back from a pub on the local council estate in Kent where I lived with my parents. It wasn't his first kiss, and by all accounts he was 'a bit of a lad.'  I remembered I'd been drinking. We kissed within yards of my Irish parents' house - to the constant flap of a curtain every minute or so as they kept an eye on me. Not so romantic perhaps. But I didn't care. I was finally being kissed and my young, hormonal body was ripe for such an experience.

As a novelist we have so many experiences to draw from and set the scene. I know how important it is to get inside your character's head - to share their emotions and longings, and to bring their thoughts as well as actions to the page. But don't forget the background. Every painting has one behind the sitter. So every book should in some way set the scene.

I have recently read many novellas/short stories that are almost all written as conversations between the principle characters. But we are writing novels, not plays, aren't we? So I advise against neglecting your setting. Settings add color and dimension to your world, so don't be afraid of it. The page is a blank canvass. Give it depth and you give it life. And if you hit a brick wall, and can't relate to what your character should feel in the spot you have placed them, then look inside yourself; maybe all the way back to that first time you experienced something similar. It's truly wonderful what you'll find there. On all dimensions.

Oh, just in case you wondered; above is my first novel cover, Drench The Wench published under my first nom-de-plume, P J Perryman. Two firsts in one sentence.

Thanks for reading :)

How to Write a Short Story or Novel Without Actually Buying A Book About It

Before I begin, let me throw my hands in the air and confess yes, I have bought a couple of these "How-To-Write" books. And yes, there are definitely some good ones out there, for instance, Stephen King's On-Writing: A Memoir of the Craft.

But even then, there are just as many bad books as good ones and believe me, your head will spin making sense of them all . Plus there's the question of what to buy, because you'll find a million and one options to choose from. How to write a novel, How not to write a novel, How to write a novel in 30 days, How to write a novel for children, How to write a fantasy, How to market your novel, How to get an agent, How to write a query letter, and so on and so on. Don't take my word for it. Go to Google and type, "How to write a novel," and see what comes up.
Like myself, most of the authors I know have limited funds, and so for them I have decided to compile a list of resources I've used thus far on my
writing journey. The list includes not only the craft of writing, but sites that will help you get your book out there, once it's finally written.

Absolute Write Forums: This has been by far my most valuable resource to date.  The posts in the forums have accumulated over a number of years and you can find the answer to pretty much any kind of writing question there is. But even more importantly, it's a writing community, attended by thousands of people walking similar paths to yourself.  The information there is dynamic, so totally up to the minute. Joining is free, but if you're like me and don't trust free, head over and just lurk for a while. You don't have to say or share a thing until you're ready to, but believe me, most are glad when they do.

Writer's Digest: Although this is a magazine you can subscribe to, they have an on-line presence and there's generally a ton of useful articles you can read without spending anything at all. for example, in their search field I typed "tips for writing," and came up with an article called 5 Tips On Writing First Drafts by Chuck Sambuchino, which was a particularly interesting read. The home page currently has an interesting article on NanoWriMo month, which starts tomorrow, Nov 1. Go check it out if you have time.

Facebook: Writing is a pretty lonely profession. No one will write that story for you, so for most of us that means hours in front of you computer, armed with your own brain and, if you're lucky, a cup of tea. The great thing about FB is you can hook up with writers of similar interest, or follow the agents and publishers of your genre. Joining writing related groups is a great way to obtain industry specific information, without bugging your family and friends with all the things that you do. It's never too early to make connections and get your name out there, and FB is invaluable for that.

Twitter: Twitter is an excellent way to network with other writers and get your name out there.

Querytracker and Agentquery: The publishing world is incredibly dynamic, and what publishers and agents want to see changes at an alarming rate. You could run out and buy a copy of say, Writers and Artists Year book - but since its updated annually it could cost you a fortune in renewals every year. That said, in addition to lists, the book offers invaluable advice on the how to's of your craft, so there is a lot to be said for buying this one. Just saying. They do have a web site - and there's some useful resources there too.

Its NanoWriMo month starting November 1! The great thing about Nano is you can participate with other writers, who really push you to finally plant your backside on a chair and get the job done. I myself will be on the front line tomorrow - and you can find me under my Nano name as TypoToffee. Please fill free to add me as a writing buddy.

Ah Blogger. Perhaps the most important resource for any writer, wherever they are in their journey are the works of other writers. I suspect most of you reading this blog are avid readers, the kind who buy books before you think of what to have for dinner. (Kudos by the way.) Read writers, not just for enjoyment, but to see how they overcome the hurdles of the craft. Think about your favorite writer. What makes them stand out over everyone else? How do they do that?  Blogger and Wordpress are great ways to read the works of other writers without spending a nickel. And come to that, why not write a blog? Even before your great novel is finally written, these help to develop your readership and skills.

Everything I found was initially discovered using a search engine, such as Google. There is a treasure trove of information to be had for free on the internet, if you have the time to look. As I said at the start; these are the key resources that worked for me. Please share any sites that helped you in the comments section. I'd be happy to take a look, and love sharing useful discoveries.

Thank you for reading, and for those of you getting down to write for NanoWriMo, I wish you the very best!

Jill Jackson!

Pride and Prejudice - An Insight into Mr. Bennet

My printer refused to print this morning, and my dishwasher simply won't dissolve the soap, resulting in pans covered in a chalky white primeval gunk. What has this to do with Mr. Bennet, you might ask? Absolutely nothing in itself, but my brain will wander when dealing with mundane chores, (such as hooking up the spare printer and washing out the detergent cavity  - - YET AGAIN.)

Today's brain wander had me thinking about Mr. Bennet, and in particular the description Jane Austen gives of him in relation to his wife. Why? Because I'm reading Pride and Prejudice once more, and the books I read infiltrate my brain like food dye, coloring everything I do and think. So, what rattled me this morning was this particular passage:

Mr. Bennet was so odd a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice, that the experience of three and twenty years had been insufficient to make his wife understand his character.

Most accounts I have read of Mr. Bennet focus on his foolhardy economic outlook, and his obtuse resistance to either support or assist his daughters in their quest for suitable husbands. To our modern sensibilities, these may be trifling matters, but back in the day such indifference would have had a tremendous negative impact on his daughter's fortunes. Today it would be like saying, "Pah, what do they need a college education for? They'll work it all out without my help."

What struck me though was something else. Like some of you, perhaps, I am SUCKED IN to the vortex of all things Austenabilia. When Death Comes to Pemberley screens on PBS I will be right there with my remote, recording for dear life. As you can imagine, I've watched Miss Austen Regrets, Becoming Jane, and every televised  Masterpiece reproduction of her work, so on some level, and like many ardent fans, I feel I know her.

So when I read this passage again last night I had one of those ah-ha! moments. There is a reason why Mr. Bennet and Elizabeth share a special bond. To my thinking they are born from the same source. Lizzy Bennet is a quirky, quick-tongued intellectual. Through her eyes we see the people-watcher inherent in all authors; she is master of the folly she sees around her, capturing it in perfect caricature, and forming her opinions accordingly, though not always correctly. Show me an author who cannot relate to this and I'll show you an impostor. Elizabeth, flaws and all, represents the character Jane herself always wanted to be.

By all accounts Jane's own father George Austen was a scholarly, rational man, not known to be reckless in his behaviors. Though not affluent by the standards of the day, the family enjoyed a comfortable middle-class living, including regular trips to the seaside and university educations for the boys. However towards the end of his life, the family moved to Bath, which though still a respectable town had long since passed its heyday. Before his death in 1805, he turned his living over to his son, James, but when he died his daughters found themselves in financial difficulty. We see Jane's feelings regarding this matter in her reflections on Mr. Bennets economy:

Mr. Bennet had very often wished, before this period of his life, that, instead of spending his whole income, he had laid by an annual sum for the better provision of his children, and of his wife, if she survived him. He now wished it more than ever. Had he done his duty in that respect, Lydia need not have been indebted to her uncle for whatever of honour or credit could now be purchased for her. The satisfaction of prevailing on one of the most worthless young men in Great Britain to be her husband might then have rested in its proper place.

This explains his pecuniary difficulties, but what of his nature? Was her father, a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice? If he was indeed a calm, scholarly man, this would hardly seem likely. So where did Jane get his character from? In the movie, Twins, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito come from a single egg, where Arnie gets all the good genes and Danny DeVito is left with all the crud. It occurred to me that Elizabeth Bennet is the ideal to which the author aspired, but Mr. Bennet reflects all the warts and follies of the woman herself. So two halves of the same coin.

As a writer I can relate. I could never live up to the ideals of my heroines, and I throw all my daftness into my villains and sub characters. I think Austen must have done pretty much the same. Does it matter? Yes and no. We people watch to better understand ourselves and our own idiosyncrasies, don't we? And understanding how people tick brings color to the characters we write about.

Anyway, look at me, getting all rallied up when I should be dealing with more practical matters. But then nobody's perfect (thank God.) And since neither the printer nor the dishwasher will fix themselves, I better get back to them, or else all hell will break lose. And I'll write about that too, sooner or later. As is only right.

Thanks for reading,

Jill

Introducing WINE SERVICE by Zenobia Renquist - Title: Wine Service (Professional Courtesy 1)

It is with great excitement that I get to announce this new book, WINE SERVICE, written by Zenobia Renquist and Publushed under Musa's new erotica line - Eros.  Eros is a spanking new imprint, specifically tailored for you naughty readers of all things erotic, and includes Erotica, BDSM, MF, MFM and much, MUCH more.

Anyways, back to Zenobia and her naughty, NAUGHTY book. The canny lass has provided everything you need to know down below **wink.** Enjoy!

"She offers satisfaction above and beyond what is requested."

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Lexie's job as a housekeeper at a five-star hotel doesn't normally include the unique and risqué form of room service that important hotel guest Mr. Malena has requested, nor the generous tip he's offered. Lexie can't resist, and what should have been a one-time thing turns into an introduction into the sensual world of customer satisfaction. She finds much enjoyment in her "work," but is it worth risking her job?

Story Tidbit:

Research is always key to telling a good story when an author doesn’t have personal knowledge of a specific topic. Let me just say the amount of videos and photos I stumbled across researching the scenes for this title were equal parts interesting and scary. Amateurs and cameras and too many places that allow uploads—that’s all I have to say about that. In the end, I found what I needed to make this title work for me.

Excerpt:

“I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing that.” Mr. Malena scooped his arm under her shoulders and helped her sit up. “How do you feel?”

“Really, really good.”

“You look it. You’re grinning a mile wide.”

Now that he mentioned it, she was. She couldn’t stop. Whatever chemical releases occurred during orgasm had her happy as hell. Nothing that happened after this would diminish this euphoric high—not even returning to work.

“Thank you,” she said.

“No. I thank you. I could think of no better way to spend my afternoon. It’s a shame you have to leave, or else I would find more things to stuff inside you.”

She clenched around the plug. It didn’t cross her mind once while she was enjoying the bottle, but she was sure it had played a part in her orgasm.

Mr. Malena climbed off the bed and brought her with him. He kept a hand on her waist to hold her steady. “Go shower and get dressed. Leave in the plug. I’ll take it out once you return with my new comforter.”

“Okay.”

Lexie moved as if clouds carried her. She wasn’t sure her feet touched the ground. She was glad she’d returned. Today had surpassed yesterday. If tomorrow did the same, she would be hooked, not that she wasn’t already.

After her shower, she retrieved her bra and panties—the ones she’d brought with her to wear when working. Knowing the demi-cup bra wouldn’t be comfortable for her workday and that Mr. Malena would probably want to keep her thong, she’d packed a small bag that she’d stashed in the serving cart. She wasn’t going sans panties again. Once was enough. It had only been for twenty minutes yesterday, but that had been too long dreading the moment someone would notice she wasn’t wearing any.
