What are you working on right now?
I'm currently writing the third book in the Gem Apocalypse series, The Sapphire Sacrifice.
When did you first write romance novels?
My earliest romance stories were in college. I would stay up late writing online with another girl. We'd create stories together which was incredibly fun and it also allowed you to get a glimpse into another character without you controlling their actions.
Does your family know you write spanking romance stories?
Yes and they're incredibly supportive of my work.
Do you have any pets?
I have a dog, Trace. While I was in college I had a rabbit that I used to smuggle into my dorm room.
What made you drawn toward writing about crime thrillers and romance?
I used to love the show Without a Trace. I also enjoyed Fringe and The X-Files. I thought it'd be fun to write an FBI centered series that focuses on different cases while also heating the stories up.
Do you write any under other names?
I write under Ravyn Rayne and Ruth Silver.
